Hikvision DS-2DE3304W-DE V5.6.0 build

Hello

I have a Hikvision DS-2DE3304W-DE V5.6.0 build 190128 camera and after uploading the latest software, I noticed that the camera creates datadir 0 -4 folders on a network drive (NAS). Recordings only appear in the folder datadir0, then overwrite in the same folder again. Other datadir1,2,3 folders are still empty. On another camera with an older version of the software, this problem does not occur.
I would love to return to the previous version of the software, but the camera does not...

Cannot access NVR through browser, any suggestions

Hi

I've just installed a new hikvision NVR. It's working ok but i cannot access it through my browser putting in the ip addy. I've run the SADPtool and it finds the NVR but double clicking in the ip addy does nothing either. I've installed iVMS-4200 and that picks up the NVR but I cannot access anything am I doing something obviously wrong?
Any comments gratefully accepted.

Please Please could someone tell me if my new DVR put in a few days ago. Is it possible to speed the playback button up when looking through any activation as it is greyed out on my tv screen. Also is there a way of seeing if there has been any activation through the day while I have been away instead of looking through a whole days video. The model number is S-7204HUHI-K1. HARDWARE VERSION OX3500. THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Hikvision have just released new firmware for their -K (B) NVRs V3.4.100:
HIKVISION UK PORTAL

NB
This firmware is only for recent 7604 -K NVRs with a (B) suffix in their part code.

Sorry, no Release Notes nor further information yet.

Hello some help please woudl be appreciated.

My NVR is DS-7716NI-I4 / 16P

I have updated the firmware to V4.22.000 build 190821 but now have two problems

I have "lost" one of the cameras and do not know how to get it back, its is not being recognised, whereas all the other cameras have just come back on.

When I am using iVMS 4200 and go into Configuration when I try to select "Basic Setting" a new window opens and then I get "Navigation to this window was cancelled" and the window...

Apple have just released an update to their Safari browser - V12.0

First reports are coming in that with this version of Safari it is no longer possible to view Live Video from your Hikvision cameras.

The latest version of the Mac plugin currently available is V3.0.6.23 (on that landing page click Downloads at the left side; this version is dated Feb 12th 2018) - this is the latest version of the plugin we can find...

Hello everyone. Great forum you have here, very informative.

I have a question regarding a DS-7616NI-I2 / 16P NVR. When viewing full screen a single channel using the main stream the picture freezes for about a second every 20-30 seconds. Playback of the footage during these freezes does not show any freezing and plays fine. Problem is I need this stutter free as it will get annoying while monitoring. Any ideas?

I'm using DS-2CD2185FWD-I cameras and the following settings.

Hikvision ANPR issue

Hi
my customer has reported an issue where the camera doesn't always record Vehicles entering and leaving normally the later.
the other thing ive noticed is , when you and group of cars quite close it repeats the middle number plate even when you can see the correct number plate.
the camera in place is
Hikvision DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS
i'm assuming that it could be a case of tweaking something .

Hik-connect app - notifications to shared users

Hi have a working system and I received push notifications to my iPhone using the hik-connect app. Works great.

I have shared the cameras with my wife using the app and she can view the lives feeds without a problem. However she doesn't get any of the push notifications. I've had to enable email notifications for her but I'd really like to get push notifications working. Is this possible without logging her in with my account?

Hi all, I have three Hik camera's all are showing no video I was seeing if anything could be done via the Hik connect app when I got a text from Ezviz asking me to input a verification code I went back to my Hik connect app and put the verification code in but it would not accept the code . Is there any way I can get a new code as this one has expired and any help to get my camera's up and running would be of great help

Updated 26th November to clarify setting and use of encryption key / verification code.

Seen as a pop-up at the bottom right screen corner in your browser when trying to access a video stream from a HikVision camera to Live View it/them on your HikVision NVR.

There is another version of the message - "The stream is encrypted. Please go to the Local Configuration interface to set the Encryption Key and restart live view".

SD Card stops working

I have two Hik vision cameras which both have a serial number of DS-2CD2385FWD. Each one has an SD card installed and recording to it. However, lately the cameras state that the SD card is not installed. We have got round the problem by rebooting the cameras when we notice this has happened but would like to get this resolved so that I don't have to worry. Could you let me know if this is a known problem and if there is a solution for these. Many thanks

Hi everyone!
I have problem with 2x 4mp Hikvision bullet cameras.
The day footage is great, but in dark i cant see nothing.
I have tried with turning off Auto WDR, but it does not help. Can you give me a tips how can I ''Isolate'' the wall? Now the IR light is focusing on it. The Intelligent IR light is on
