I'm making this plea again, because every day we continue to get calls and enquiries about "odd" issues, features "not working", cameras "gone faulty", cameras that have "gone offline", no longer being able to see video in my App, on my Mac, in IVMS-4200, in my browser, etc.
95% of those callers own HikVision systems.
50% of those callers are what you might term disbelieving when told they need to update their firmware.
Especially if it's a young female member of my team that gives...

Hi, I'm new to this forum nice to meet you all :) I was looking for help in purchasing the correct equipment to add a additional camera to my current set up. I have a I.T background so I thought I'd give it a go myself.

Currently I have a Hikvision DS-7204HGHI-F1 which I belive is a 4 channel DVR. The DVR has no more room to add any additional cameras to it. The DVR is also in a separate location to the router. I belive that I can add additional 5 network cameras to the system.

Exporting footage from my Hik DVR-504-K1 squashes it?

When I export footage from the DVR box using the actual box, and the mobile app the footage that saves looks very squashed, and is not in the widescreen resolution that it is shown during playback on the box and app. Am I missing something here ?

DS-7604NI-K1 not downloading any playback files

I'm running a DS-7604NI-K1 / 4P(B)), with firmware version V3.4.110 build 200212. I've now discovered that I am unable to download any playback video.

Ive tried on Mac & PC, IVMS-4200, chrome, safari, SeaMonkey (Mac), Firefox, and Internet Explorer (on PC). here's one of teh error messages:

Sorting out recording space on a DS-7716NI-I4 / 16P NVR?

Is there a way of seeing what each camera is using in terms of space ?
Just trying to get a balance between the cameras that have different resolutions without firing shots in the dark.

I'm using a Hikvision ip camera

Model: DS-2CD2125FWD-IS
firmware: DS-2CD2125FWD-IS
Web version: V4.0.1 build 190506

Is there a way to upload via FTP only 1 ( one) still image at a time and overwrite it for example every 1 minute.?
I need this for uploading and updating a webcam image on my website.
Normally the camera sends each image with a different name in a daily folder on my server. What I really want is to have only one image each time and use it to show on my website.

Confused about Mac browsers and Hivision nvr and cameras

This has probably been done to death, but I"m still confused. :(

I have a DS-7604NI-K1/4P(B) now running on 4.30.000 and a DS-2CD2135FWDF-I running 5.6.5
Both are the latest firmwares.

I thought with these later firmwares, particularly level 4, they had sorted the problem with iMac and browsers. ie no pluggins to view live or recorded data.

I have just loaded 4.30.000 on my nvr, but any browser I use on my iMac asks me to download a plugin. The problem is it is always an .exe file which...

After Enabling Rotate/Corridor Mode for one of my Cameras the Live View appears Squashed in the Hik-Connect App

I have an issue in that even after all this is done, using a mobile app like iVMS or HokConnect doesn't work for rotated/corridor mode. It still displays it in portrsit and the image is squashed and looks odd.

It looks fine on the local or web browser live view though.

Any ideas?

I should be able to connect (in fact I was able to connect some time ago), via the address field of any browser https://192.168.1.64:443.

But now I just get an Unable to connect message (Safari, Firefox, Opera, Brave (all the latest versions)).

Whereas I can login and configure the same unit via the Safari browser on an iPad Pro and an iPhone X (all the devices have the latest macOS and iOS...

Hi there - have a setup at home installed a couple of months ago with 14* 8mp accusense cameras and hik vision NVR.
All been working well, and line detection and intrusion detection smart events triggering notifications on my mobile on the hik-connect app, and then in there I can see the short video of the event.

Then, since thursday, I've had none of these coming through.... the main one that triggers all the time is the line detection by gate to our house when somebody crosses it.

Hi, all, i am sorry to bother you guys but i was wondering if you could help with a question. I have Hikvision 7608NI-I2-8P Nvr along with a couple of 2385''s and 2355's, I am interested in having snapshots taken of evens and being stored on the NVR like i could do with my Dahua when i had it. I have noticed on the cams it will take full-res photos but on the NVR will only take relatively low res pics, do you if there is a workaround for this?

I have a DS-2DE2A404IW-DE3 (firmware updated to V5.6.15) which is used to monitor a section of lane such that traffic passes across the screen, left- right & right-left. The camera is zoomed in slightly so that the view covers 15-20m of road. The vehicles appear quite large in the view, between 1/4 to 1/3 the height of the screen.

Despite all the wonderful guides available here and the plethora of support articles and videos provided by Hikvision, I've been struggling to get remote access to my new DVR and cameras. It's a DVR-204Q-K1. I initially tried using iVMS-4500 with port forwarding rules on my router. All the rules bar one worked. I could never get the port 443 rule to work - it always gave me "connection refused". iVMS-4500 worked fine internally but I could never get it to work external to my network.

Hey Use IPer's,

This is my first post and I really need your help guys. I have installed 30 to 35 Dual Audio 2421, 2423 and 2443 Hikvision IP cameras. Connections are all good as I have used 8 ports Hikvision POE switches. Cable I used was CAT6 Baynet and D-Link.

The problem I am facing is that I can't hear any audio on My Android/IOS IVMS-4500 app.. I can hear audio and can talk through cam as well on computer; local network (web interface).... I have selected Video/Audio Type under Video...

Hi

I have a HikVision DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P (it has the ANPR facility). I am trying to get it to FTP a video (10 secs before and after it spots a number plate). I have encountered a few problems:

1) I have 128Gb SD card on the camera, how can I tell if this is being stored to?
2) I have setup HikCentral (i will get Pro version once I have it working) as a means of triggering the events, but when I try and add the camera it says I dont have a recording schedule.

I hope I am not creating a duplicate thread, I did a search "HikConnect" but did not see a hit relating to an outline of how it functions.
