hik-connect and DS-KB8112-IM

Hi.
I can`t find where is the problem with hik-connect and my DS-KB8112-IM. In hik-connect it always is in offline mode (it also was very difficult to add it to device list - after trying a lot off times). After restarting kb8112-im it goes on online only few seconds and again is in offline mode. If i use a web browser or ivms-4200, my ds-kb8112-im works fine. I can see video, hear the voice over ds-kh8301-WT also.

So, anybody knows why kb8112 is always in offline mode in hik-connect? When...

Hello there,

I have 2 cameras DS-2CD2385G1-I 8MP and one 7604NI-K1/4P(B).

I am super happy with them but don´t like B/W mode so I wanted to buy any ColorVu to try colour mode at night BUT first I have tried disabling IR and just with Day mode at Night and with a few settings to the exposure and here and there I think I can get same if not almost identical results to Colorvu at night because I have some street lightning at night enough to help to the Darkfighter. I don´t have any Colorvu...

Hi Everybody,

I'm enjoying getting to learn the ropes around the latest version of iVMS-4200 VS (v1.1.0.10), it's certainly quite different from iVMS-4200 v2

One idiosyncrasy that I have noticed is that the red bell icon that appears in the Main View when detected Events are sent from cameras does not turn off after Smart Events (Line Crossing Detection, Intrusion Detection, etc.) have ended. In fact, the only way I can clear this indication is to re-start the software.

Just installed and it's either broken or not fit for purpose imho - but what do you think? The linked clip from my new Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1 Door Station was taken at native 1080p resolution from a live view in iVMS-4200 (it looks the same in other viewers). Hikvision PTZ smart tracking duration settings - help please

Hello everyone
We have a camera DS-2DF7286 with smart tracking. It works ok but does not track for long enough. If someone walks down the street it will track them for about 5 seconds then moves back to home position instead of taking notice of what the person is doing. I cant seem to find any settings on how long it tracks for. Could someone please point me in the right direction.

I'm making this plea again, because every day we continue to get calls and enquiries about "odd" issues, features "not working", cameras "gone faulty", cameras that have "gone offline", no longer being able to see video in my App, on my Mac, in IVMS-4200, in my browser, etc.
95% of those callers own HikVision systems.
50% of those callers are what you might term disbelieving when told they need to update their firmware.
Especially if it's a young female member of my team that gives...

I have the above door bell connected to my home WIFI mesh network setup, its a BT HH6 meshed to 3 Devolo Powerline 1200AC WIFI nodes (both 2.4 &5 Ghz channels are set to auto). The signal is very strong all around the house including at the door bell. I had the door bell working faultlessly for months and then it suddenly went off line and only a reset could get back online. Hi This is my first post on here so here goes. December i changed the internet to superfast 140MBPS on the IVMS 4200 service platform and had worked resonably well prior to the new broadband service. The cameras had obviously not been set up properly as even on live view at the NVR i had sparodic time lapse the time was not sync'ed and was way out. I've managed to solve one issue with my camera but now have another issue. I have 2 identical cameras and have updated them to the same firmware using the same firmware file. When viewing the camera directly via its IP address in my web browser (Google Chrome running on Windows 10 Home), I get a difference in the webpage and a different set of functions.

Apple have just released an update to their Safari browser - V12.0

First reports are coming in that with this version of Safari it is no longer possible to view Live Video from your Hikvision cameras.

The latest version of the Mac plugin currently available is V3.0.6.23 (on that landing page click Downloads at the left side; this version is dated Feb 12th 2018) - this is the latest version of the plugin we can find...

HDD Not Exist

Hi,

I have a Hikvision NVR with a Seagate 2TB hard drive (Green). I've had this for two years without any issue. However, yesterday I had two power cuts and since then the NVR isn't recording as the HDD is seen as Not Exist. I have tried to format it but it doesn't do anything.

I try to connect this HDD to the laptop although it recognises it, I can't not see the drive for it.

I have a "traditional" DVR type: DS-7332HWI-SH.

DVR is remotely accessed by application iVMS-4200 (v3.1.1.13) installed on computer (OS: Windows10Prof.64bit).

When the computer is restarted and iVMS-4200 is opened, I cannot access, for a time, the cameras of DS-7332; error code: iVMS-4200 Video.C.exe [1602]; “Camera is disabled or not connected”.

Hi,

I have a Hikvision DS-KB6003-WIP video doorbell, with a 128gb SanDisk memory card installed and which is also connected to my Hikvision Turbo DVR via it's IP address.

One of the features of this doorbell is a notification system via the Hik-Connect iphone app. Every time somebody stands in front of the door, i receive a notification. There are adjustable motion detection settings and you get a thumbnail and short video for each event.

Hi all,
I am new here .I was trying to update the latest firmware for this Hikvision DVR model DS-7208HUHI-K2/P..
atm I have the Current Version V4.20.000 build 181107..
The reason i try to update it was ,i cannot see camera live view when I use web browser IE
I install the LocalServiceComponents. but it was not successful, only I can view live when I use IP Acusensce camera, when I sign to this camera of ip address

I cant tell with Hikvision I use its confidential. I ordered them via a Special Company so pls dont ask further Question about.
I fight with Hikvision the want me to buy there Pc with there Software on who is not neccecary because the Software run on any PC if the sell there HW Dongle...
