HD stream on Hikvision app

Hi

My system is actually HiWatch but I'm connecting via the Hik-connect app for remote viewing.

On the viewing screen I have 2 options, Basic & HD. My problem is that the app almost never loads up the HD version. It just times out at about 92% and gives a "260015" error.

Is this something I need to adjust on the recorder, the app, or is it just tough luck? I have a 150mbps fibre broadband connection and usually a strong 4g signal on the phone.

Any suggestions?

Modem changing - best way to prepare?

My internet service provider is changing to higher speed fiber, which requires a change of the gateway/modem. I currently have the modem in bridged mode, allowing a Netgear router to handle everything relating to internet connectivity. Is there anything I should do, copy, make note of, before AT&T comes in an rips out the old modem and installs the new one? I've already confirmed I will have access to the new modem to make modifications, but I'm sure something will throw off my HikVision...

Hi This is my first post on here so here goes. December i changed the internet to superfast 140MBPS on the IVMS 4200 service platform and had worked resonably well prior to the new broadband service. The cameras had obviously not been set up properly as even on live view at the NVR i had sparodic time lapse the time was not sync'ed and was way out. The lead time pre event was not correct, all things at the time i put up with. The two lads that installed it for me no longer trade but i did...

ivms4200 no view in event managment

Hi,
I have dvr and 4 camera made by hikvision. I have configured successfully device via hikconnect.
Live view and almost all stuff works fine. I have a problem, when i try to manage events, set crossing line detection etc. online(p2p cloud, hikconnect). I got blank ,gray screen like in the attachment. Problem disappear when I am connecting to dvr by lan network.

Zoom issues with DS-2CD55C5G0-IZHS

I'm still testing the camera so I haven't installed it yet. My problem is that the zooming (in the PTZ panel) doesn't seem to work. Digital zoom in iVMS4200 works. I have checked that the camera is a Z-version in iVMS4200 so it should have a motorized zoom. The camera is connected to a Hikvision PoE switch and I have checked the camera with two different ethernet cables and different ports on the switch. Any ideas?

Junction box help

Hi All,

Recently purchased a ds-2cd2347g1-lu camera and grabbed an eBay bargain for the junction box DS-1280ZJ-DM21. Was about to put it up but hit a problem.

Issue is the 3 outer holes (Marked on pic) don’t line up with the outer holes on my camera? Am I being stupid? Have I bought the wrong junction box (I am terrible at DIY lol )?

HikConnect App Notifications on iPhone

Hi everyone,

Anyone know why every time I clear my notifications in HikConnect app on iPhone it gets rid of the little red notification counter next to the app (which is normal) but then whenever I get a new notification the little red notification circle just keeps going up more and more even though I’ve cleared the notifications.
Any ideas?

Like many other threads on here, I found my new DS-7608NI-K2-8P unbearably loud. It has a channel well technologies PSU (KSA-180S2) with a 12v 5A rail, a 52v 2.5A rail and a really noisy 40mm fan, and then a second not-quite-as-noisy 40mm fan on the case.

Everyone has a different sensitivity to this sort of a noise so I've seen some people say it's fine, and that's great for them. But mine was shut in a thick walled cupboard with a heavy tight-fitting door, and it would still be loud...

Hi guys,

I thought I'd post on here about a rather strange problem we've encountered with our DS-7216HUHI-K2 DVR. We use a DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS/P (running firmware 5.4.7) and have noticed on any NVR firmware 4.20.000 and up, the NVR will not function with ANPR and displays Chinese characters under the "province/state abbreviation" menu (shown in screenshot below) or in some cases, nothing at all, just the "number of lanes" option but still will not write any plates even though the ANPR...

Hi all,

First post on the forum, hopefully someone can solve my issue! :)

I have a DS-7204HUHI-K1 DVR with 2 x 5MP Hikvision cameras. These were installed by a friend of a friend a while back and everything was going fine. I recently changed my internet provider which seemed to be a simple switch-over in terms of the DVR. I don't know if this has caused the issue, but I've only noticed the problem happening from this switch.

Basically, I've set up various smart events using the DVR web...

Hi all. 2wk old NVR7608 just did something 'new' today by giving message bottom right of browser screen of "Multi-screen mode only accepts live view and playback at sub-stream. For any other stream type, please switch to single-screen mode."
I understand what is means but why has this just started appearing (no change to firmware, etc) .. and its making me think I have accidentally changed a setting?

I can go to single screen view and get main-stream or 4x screen and see 4 cameras on...

When importing a black & white list, an error occurs: file format is not supported.
EXTENSION IS (.XLS)

Do you have any solutions??

Issue with playback failing from certain time

Strange problem I got my cameras and NVR setup a couple of days ago and everything worked fine, recording playback emails for motion detection and remote viewing via the HikConnect App.

Last night I got a couple of alerts and was able to view them on Playback in the app and also via a Browser. Then from around 7am in the morning I cannot view the recordings either in the App, via a browser or when actually downloading the file itself and playing back on the PC. It says video not supported...
