DS-7204HQHi-K1 Issue with Firmware 4.21.000

Hi I recently upgraded my firmware on my DS-7204HQHU-K1 to firmware 4.21.000 and it caused all sorts of video stutter issues when using hik-connect, the image would either be stuttering in playback, sometimes in live view, it would jump around on the progress bar on playback and just generally cause all sorts of issues. is this a common issue for this unit and firmware? There is at least 1 other person on another forum I've visited who reports similar issues on a slightly different unit...

Unable to add new Darkfighter camera

I've happily got a Hikvision setup with 7616NI-I2/16P NVR running 4 and 5mp cameras on the poe ports.
I've now got a new DS-2CD2365G1-I which i am struggling with.

Out the box i connected to the camera to the NVR port to activate the camera (on the channel it said network abnormal)
So i connected it directly to the LAN via a POE switch to get a DHCP address, and activate the camera with the admin password.
From the NVR i seleted a channel, changed it to manual, entered the IP...

Hi,

I have finally managed to install one of my Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1 door stations with a keypad and card reader. I have issued several RFID cards and opening of the electric lock works.

I’m struggling now with recording videos and capturing pictures. I’m using iVMS4200 v.3.2.0.10. I used earlier v3.1 and the new version fixed some bugs and added new functionalities. I have updated the firmware on the door and sub units to the latest version.

My first question is that is Hikvision...

Darkfighter DS-2DE2A404IW-DE3

Hi, i have the DS-2DE2A404IW-DE3 and Hikvision state it is a Darkfighter, the firmware is on V5.6.14 build 190826, but in comparison to both my DS-2CD2165G0-I cams that are also Darkfighter it seems nowhere near the same quality in low light conditions. Do i have the correct firmware, or is it not a true Darkfighter as described on the Hikvision website.

Not quite on the cheap, but spread out enough that it hasn't been a financial issue!

I started out with cheapie SD cameras and NAS. ftp was fine. NAS just happened to be Sysnology, and someone pointed out their Surveillance Station software to me. 2 free licenses.... I stuck with 2 they give free as I was searching for cameras that looked better than what I had, on a budget...
I had already built a time server on a Raspberry PI, for use at location with no internet.... for the SD...

HiLook Firmware

I know this forum is more for the Hikvision mainstream products, but I did ask a question here a while back (can't find it now!) regarding Hilook cameras.
I have two of them - a PTZ-N2404I-DE3 and a PTZ-N2204I-DE3. Both were running 5.5.6 firmware. The 2404 was branded Hilook in the firmware, and showed a model number, but the 2204 had a blank space where the HiLook logo should be, and the model number box in the web interface was blank, so think this was an OEM camera

Hi, we are using Hik-connect app for a while now for our security cameras. The person who came set up the DVR and everything but recently we changed our Wi-Fi password and now it shows that the device is offline when I try to access the cameras on my phone. Can someone please tell how to get the cameras back online?

Issue loggin in to HIk-Connect on IVMS 4200 and IVMS 4500, but can login through Hik-Connect website and app.

Here is an odd one, out of the blue, it seems I can no long connect to Hik-Connect through IVMS 4200 or IVMS 4500. I get an error that says you don't have permission to login. However, when I login directly to the Hik-Connect website, and the Hik-Connect app, I am able to login and see the IP cameras no problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue before?

As y'all know, the Hikvision video intercom (2nd generation) allows multiple indoor screens to be connected either by POE or by wi-fi to the master screen. Trouble is the instructions contain zero useful information about the power supply required for an indoor wi-fi screen - and of course no power supply comes in the box. Thumbnail Images on Playback Timeline NO RESOURCE

Hello

I have a DS7608/K2 8P running latest version 3 firmware connected to 4 x 2343GOs and 1 x 2365G1 camera running latest firmware also. Resolutions and frame rates set to max on all with bit rates enabled for highest settings. All works great, playback, live view, etc. except in playback on all cameras there are no thumbnail images showing on the timeline. Instead the thumbnails show "no resource".

I have tried to work out if its my settings but have not come across anything...

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has installed this camera before?

I bought it recently amongst a few other HIK bits for the house as I wanted something at the front porch that wasn't huge and had the ability to capture audio if required. I assumed that it would be covered on the data side of the POE cable but I'm thinking not after seeing all the plugs attached to it.

Can someone confirm that I will need to route some sort of audio cable with the Cat-5e before I get stuck into it? And if so...

Hik-connect offline (0x2002)

Hi!

I wondered if anyone else had the troublesome issue, where hik-connect will just decide to take itself offline (without network errors), and the best way I can find to quickly fix it, is to enable/disable cycle a few times, and also change the verification code ...seems buggy!

Looking for some help please.

Recently did an upgrade on the firmware of my CCTV via the web app after checking online and it stating there was a later firmware.

Since that time, there have been issues with playback and live view functionality via the Hik connect app - the timings on playback will jump back and forth five seconds or so and the picture will distort and scramble. it is lagging and jumping.

I was told the problem might be down to my internet but I've had that checked, the...

I recently brought Hikvision DS-7A08HGHI-F1 ECO 8CH DVR, I have issues with net connection after each restart of the device. I could bale to connect to the net with all configurations setups at Network-Platform access tabs, but when the DVR restarts (due to power cuts) it automatically goes to offline. I use Tenda router to connect to the net with DVR. Kindly help me to fix this issue

Hi all,

I have NVR 7716 which is POE and a bunch of HIK Vision cameras and intercom.

I wanted to ask is there a recommendation on weather I should set the cameras up as "plug n play" (which the NVR setups them up and they are on a separate subnet). I'm not sure what will be required for the intercom.

Or should I set them up manually and put them onto a separate VLAN on my network. I assume this would mean I dont connect the cameras to the NVR POE ports (which is kind of useless having a...

Wanting to replace a camera

Evening all,

We have a Hikvision system comprising of a DVR and 2 dome cameras. The front camera has some additional features such as line crossing detection but the rear doesn't. The rear has started to go faulty and I would like to replace it with a unit similar to the front but there's so many out there I'm not sure which one to order. I think they're poe cameras as they are attached to the DVR by cat5 adapters.

Can anyone recommend a camera I could order?
